Sergeant Major Angie L. Luna

Sergeant Major Angie L. Luna, a native of Los Angeles, CA, enlisted in the Marine Corps in July of 2005 and currently serves as the Command Senior Enlisted Leader for Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 268, Marine Aircraft Group 24, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing.


Throughout her career, Sergeant Major Luna has been assigned as a Embark Clerk with Marine Air Group 11; Embarkation NCO with the Marine Air Group 16; Embarkation Chief with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 323; Embarkation Chief with Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 16; Recruiter with Recruiting Station Phoenix, Recruiting Sub- Station West Phoenix; Instructor/ Lead Instructor with to Air Mobility, Expeditionary Warfare Group Pacific; Senior Combat Cargo Assistant with the USS Anchorage; Logistics Chief with 1st Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company; Company First Sergeant, 3d Supply Battalion; Director, Marine Combat Instructor School; and Company First Sergeant, Advanced Infantry Training Battalion, SOI-W.


She has deployed with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 323, in 2007; Marine Air Group 16, in 2008; and 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit in 2015.


Sergeant Major Luna’s decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with two gold stars in lieu of 3rd award and Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with four gold stars in lieu of 5th award.
