Sgt Thomas P. Dzierbicki
Thomas P. Dzierbicki was born in Detroit, Michigan. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in August 2012 and underwent recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island South Carolina.
In December 2012, Private Dzierbicki completed Marine Combat Training at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina and received orders to attend the Marine Corps Tactical Switching Operator Course located in 29 Palms, California. In February 2013 Private Dzierbicki was promoted to Private First Class. Upon completion of his MOS school, Private First Class Dzierbicki reported to Marine Wing Support Squadron 172, Okinawa Japan for duty as Tactical Switchboard Operator.
In September 2013, PFC Dzierbicki was meritoriously promoted to the rank of Lance Corporal. In February 2014, he participated in Marine Expeditionary Exercise (MEFEX) located in Kusan AB, South Korea as a Tactical Switching Operator. In June 2014 Lance Corporal Dzierbicki was promoted to the rank of Corporal.
In October 2014 he participated in PHIBLEX 14, a U.S. Marine Corps and Philippine bilateral training, located in the Republic of the Philippines as a Squad Leader for Communication Detachment, Marine Wing Support Squadron 172. In April 2015, Cpl Dzierbicki once again deployed to Philippines as Tactical Switching Operator in support of Balikatan 15.
In August 2014, he was meritoriously promoted to his current rank and assumed the billet of Wire Chief for Wire Section, Communication Platoon, Marine Wing Support Squadron 172, Okinawa Japan.
