LtCol Fluker is a 7557 KC-130J Aircraft Commander from Kirbyville, Texas. He married his wife Dena in 2008 and graduated from Texas A&M University in May of 2009 with a degree in Civil Engineering. Following graduation he commissioned via the Platoon Leaders Class-Air program.
2ndLt Fluker began flight training in January of 2011, earned his wings in May 2012, completed the KC-130J Aviation Training Unit, and reported to Marine Aerial Refueling Transport Squadron (VMGR) 152 in Okinawa, Japan in December 2012.
While in the squadron Capt. Fluker held the billets of S-4 Assistant Officer in Charge, Flight Duty Officer, and Current Operations Officer. Captain Fluker participated in the squadron's relocation to MCAS Iwakuni, various exercises across the Pacific, and OPERATION SAHAYOGI HAAT.
In 2016 Captain Fluker attended resident Expeditionary Warfare School (EWS). Upon graduation he worked at Officer Candidates School as a summer augment, then he moved to MCAS Cherry Point, NC to serve as the operations officer for the KC-130J Fleet Replacement Detachment.
Major Fluker graduated from Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI) Course 19-2 then transferred to VMGR-252 and shortly thereafter deployed to the Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force Crisis Response-Africa (SPMAGTF-CR-AF) 20.1 in Moron, Spain as the KC-130J operations officer.
In 2020 Major Fluker moved to Oxfordshire, United Kingdom to serve as an exchange pilot in 47 Squadron, Royal Air Force (RAF). While with the RAF he deployed three times in support of Operation SHADER (UK support to Op INHERENT RESOLVE) and served as the deployed detachment commander. Upon completion of the Exchange Program, Major Fluker was awarded the Additional Military Occupational Specialty (AMOS) of 8227, Regional Area Officer-Europe.
In summer 2023 Major Fluker reported to VMGR-352 and served as the squadron operations officer. In 2024 he deployed to Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti as the KC-130 Detachment-A officer in charge, attached to VMM-164, Air Combat Element, Crisis Response-Africa (ACE-CR-AF).
In 2025 LtCol Fluker moved to Iwakuni, Japan and served as the Marine Air Group (MAG) 12 Assistant Operations Officer while awaiting command.
LtCol Fluker is a recipient of the Air Medal Strike/Flight (3), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation medal (3 Gold Stars), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, the Korean Defense Service Medal, and the Humanitarian Assistance Medal.
