An estimated 15,000 service members take part in Valiant Shield 2018
U.S. military members gather in Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands for exercise Valiant Shield 2018. Valiant Shield is a biennial, U.S. only exercise with a focus of integration of joint training among U.S. forces. This training enables real world proficiency in sustaining joint forces through detecting, locating, tracking and engaging units at sea, in the air, on land and in cyberspace.
