U.S. Marines with Marine Wing Support Detachment 24, Marine Air Group 24, demonstrate to children how to use a crash-rescue fire hose before a “Welcome to Country” ceremony June 23 at Bradshaw Field Training Area, Northern Territory, Australia. The ceremony took place in conjunction with a static display before Exercise Koolendong at BFTA. Marine Rotational Force – Darwin highlights excellent opportunities to improve our knowledge of our allies’ customs and traditions which ultimately strengthens U.S.-Australian military interoperability.
