U.S. Marines with 1st Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, exit a CH-53E Super Stallion Helicopter to prepare for a movement to contact exercise during the start of Exercise Talisman Sabre 15 on July 6, in Bradshaw, Northern Territory, Australia. Talisman Sabre is designed to improve U.S. – Australian combat readiness and interoperability, maximize combined training opportunities and conduct maritime prepositioning and logistics. The exercise allows both forces to work together and further enhance the key partnership the two nations share in their pursuit of defense in the region.
