U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Jacob Engel provides security for an MV-22B Osprey to land at Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Aug. 3, 2015. Marines with Marine Wing Support Squadron 172, Engineer Company flew into Landing Zone Buzzard, where they bounded off of the tiltrotor aircraft and provided perimeter security for additional aircraft to land. This training took place during Exercise Beach Fire, a squadron sized exercise designed to increase the overall mission readiness of MWSS-172. Engel, from Keymar, Maryland, is a combat engineer with Engineer Company, MWSS-172, Marine Aircraft Group 36, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
