The Commandant of the Marine Corps, Gen. Robert B. Neller, exits an MV-22B Osprey tiltrotor aircraft aboard the USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) during a visit to meet with the Marines and Sailors of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit and Bonhomme Richard Expeditionary Strike Group off the coast of Queensland, Australia, Aug. 8, 2017. Neller, D’Arcy Neller, the Commandant’s wife, and Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps, Sgt. Maj. Ronald L. Green, visited the 31st MEU and BHR Expeditionary Strike Group as part of a tour to greet forward-deployed Marines in solidarity after an MV-22B Osprey belonging to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265 (Rein.) experienced a mishap on Aug. 5.
