A U.S. Marine Corps AH-1Z Viper helicopter, with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron (HMLA) 469, begins take-off after conducting forward arming and refueling point (FARP) training at Ie Shima, Okinawa, Japan, Sept. 25, 2020. HMLA-469 conducted the FARP training to increase their familiarity and coordination with refueling and re-arming while operating in forward locations; The training was executed in cooperation with 9th Engineer Support Battalion (ESB), 3rd Transportation Support Battalion (TSB) and Combat Logistics Regiment (CLR) 3.
