U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Hector Vilches, a Heavy Equipment Operator with Marine Wing Support Squadron (MWSS) 174, Marine Aircraft Group 24, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, briefs Marines on a reconnaissance patrol during the Engineer Company Field Exercise (FEX) at Marine Corps Training Area Bellows (MCTAB), Waimanalo, Hawaii, April 18, 2024. MWSS-174’s Engineer Company conducted the FEX to rehearse Aviation Ground Support Reconnaissance Team employment including route, landing zone, and infrastructure surveys.
