Sergeant Major Bejarano enlisted in the Marine Corps in April 21, 2003 and attended recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina. After graduation and completion of Marine Combat Training at Camp Geiger, North Carolina. Private Bejarano attended the Motor Operator Vehicle Course aboard Fort Leonardwood, Missouri, receiving the occupation specialty of 3531 Motor Vehicle Operator, and promotion to Private First Class.
In October 17, 2003, Private First Class Bejarano received orders to Head Quarters Battery, 1st Battalion, 10th Marines, 2D Marine Division, aboard Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Private First Class Bejarano was assigned as the Motor Transport Dispatcher. In March 2004, Private First Class Bejarano was meritoriously promoted to Lance Corporal. Lance Corporal Bejarano was again meritoriously promoted to Corporal in May 2004. Corporal Bejarano attended the resident Corporals Course aboard Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
In November 2004, Corporal Bejarano volunteered to go on Temporarily Assigned Duty to Regimental Combat Team 2 (RCT 2), 2D Marine Regiment, 2D Marine Division, where he served as the Assistant Motor Transport Chief and Platoon Sergeant. Corporal Bejarano deployed in February 2005 with RCT 2 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. On October 2005, Corporal Bejarano was promoted to Sergeant. During this deployment Sergeant Bejarano was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with combat “V” device. Upon completion of TAD assignment, Sergeant Bejarano returned to Head Quarters Battery, 10th Marines on February 2006, where he served as Motor Transport Chief and Platoon Sergeant. Sergeant Bejarano attended the resident Sergeant’s Course aboard Camp Geiger, North Carolina.
In March 2007, Sergeant Bejarano attended Motor Transport Non Commissioned Officer Operator Course aboard Camp Johnson, North Carolina. In May 2007, Sergeant Bejarano was augmented to Charlie Battery, 10th Marines where he served as Motor Transport Chief and Squad Leader. Sergeant Bejarano deployed in October 2007 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Upon his return from deployment in April 2008, Sergeant Bejarano received orders to School Of Infantry (East), Marine Combat Training Battalion aboard Camp Geiger, North Carolina. In June 2008, Sergeant Bejarano reported to India Company, where he served as Combat Instructor.
In March 2010, Sergeant Bejarano was promoted to Staff Sergeant. Staff Sergeant Bejarano was assigned as Chief Combat Instructor for India Company, Marine Combat Training Battalion. As Chief Combat Instructor, Staff Sergeant Bejarano was responsible for the 29 day training schedule for level entry Marines. On April 2010, Staff Sergeant Bejarano attended the resident Career Course aboard Camp Johnson, North Carolina. In July 2011, Staff Sergeant was meritoriously promoted to the rank of Gunnery Sergeant. Gunnery Sergeant completed his Combat Instructor duties and received orders to 2D Marine Logistics Group, Combat Logistics Battalion 2, Transportation Support Company in January 2012, where he served as Company Gunnery Sergeant. Gunnery Sergeant Bejarano deployed with Combat Logistics Battalion 2 in July 2012, to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Upon the return from deployment in February 2013, Gunnery Sergeant Bejarano was assigned as the Operations Chief for Transportation Support Company. Gunnery Sergeant Bejarano was responsible for all current and future operations and the training of 225 Marines and Sailors. On November 2013, Gunnery Sergeant Bejarano attended the resident Advanced Course aboard Camp Johnson, North Carolina.
On June 2014, Gunnery Sergeant Bejarano reported to 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Air Control Group 18, Marine Air Support Squadron 2 as the Motor Transport Operations Chief. On September 2015, he was promoted to First Sergeant and was assigned as the Company First Sergeant of Landing Support Company, 3d Transportation Support Battalion. On January 2016, First Sergeant Bejarano is subsequently assigned as Company First Sergeant of Support Company, 3d Transportation Support Battalion.
In June 2017, First Sergeant Bejarano reported to 1st Marine Raider Support Battalion, Marine Raider Support Group, Marine Corps Forces, Special Operations Command as Headquarters Company First Sergeant. On February 2019, First Sergeant Bejarano was assigned as Company First Sergeant of Logistics Company, 1st Marine Raider Support Battalion.
On November 2019, Sergeant Major Bejarano was promoted to his current rank and received orders to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 268, Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.
Sergeant Major Bejarano’s personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with 3 gold stars in lieu of 4th award and Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with 2 gold stars in lieu of 3rd award with “V” device and Combat Action Ribbon with 1 gold star.
