U.S. Marines with Marine Air Control Squadron (MACS) 4 participate in a re-designation and activation ceremony at Marine Corps Air Station Futenma, Okinawa, Japan, Dec. 18, 2020. The MACS-4 re-designation is a change of the subordinate units from detachments to companies, and a name change of the Tactical Air Operations Center Detachment to Air Defense Company as part of the Commandant of the Marine Corps’ Force Design 2030 guidance.
