A graduate of the University of Missouri, Major Vincent was commissioned a 2ndLt in June of 2003 and reported to The Basic School in Quantico, VA where he received the Logistics military occupational specialty (MOS).
After attending the Logistics Officer Course in August of 2004, 2ndLt Vincent reported to 3d Transportation Support Battalion, 3d Force Service Support Group (FSSG), Okinawa. As a motor transport platoon commander, 2ndLt Vincent participated in Ulchi Focus Lens (UFL) 2004, and III MEF Convoy Exercise in Camp Fuji, Japan before deploying with his motor transport platoon to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) from March to September 2005. After returning from Iraq in 2005, 1stLt Vincent was assigned as the training officer and assistant operations officer for 3d Transportation Support Battalion.
In June 2006, 1stLt Vincent was selected to be the Aide de Camp to the Commanding General of 3d FSSG. As the Aide de Camp, 1stLt Vincent participated in exercises in the Pacific region including UFL ’06.
In June 2007, 1stLt Vincent was transferred to 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, in Twentynine Palms, California. Now Captain Vincent became the Logistics Officer for 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines (2/7). As the S-4 for 2/7, Captain Vincent deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) in Southern Afghanistan from March to December 2008. Following this deployment, Capt Vincent returned to Okinawa in December 2009 when 2/7 was tasked to be the Battalion Landing Team (BLT) for the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU). Following this deployment, Capt Vincent attended Expeditionary Warfare School (EWS) in Quantico, VA from 2010 to 2011.
In May 2011, Capt Vincent received orders to Logistics Operations School, where he was assigned as the Course Manager for the Logistics Officer Course.
In January 2014, after being promoted to Major, Major Vincent was selected to attend Korean Command and Staff College in Daejeon, South Korea, after completing language training at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, CA.
In January 2017, following Korean Command and Staff College, Major Vincent reported to Marine Aircraft Group 24 to be the Logistics Officer. Major Vincent’s personal decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and the Combat Action Ribbon.
